Information about research opportunities available at the University of Tasmania can be found here
The Research Division at the University of Tasmania has recently made important changes to research priorities and the application process for international students. Key points to note are as follows:
- All HDR applicants will now be required to apply through an available project
- Applicants wishing to develop their own projects will need to make sure there is an available project listed that is inviting them to submit their project in a related area after discussing with the listed supervisor for the project in the portal. Please note many areas may not be accepting these project approaches, so it is important to check the project listings carefully
Once you have located a suitable project and/or supervisor and been invited to apply, you should contact Study Options, who will send you the relevant application form and list of required documentation. Applicants will now be required to provide a covering letter addressing their interest and suitability for the project, as well as now providing their two academic referees as part of their CV as part of the application form.
