UWA Global Excellence Scholarship

The University of Western Australia (UWA) has recently announced a significant new scholarship for high-achieving students from selected countries, who are commencing study at the University from 2020.

The Global Excellence Scholarship is a fee reduction scholarship valued up to AU$36,000 for undergraduate students and AU$24,000 for postgraduate students. The scholarship is awarded in yearly instalments over the duration of the degree programme.

The scholarships are available for both undergraduate and postgraduate students from the United Kingdom, although certain programmes are excluded. Visit the UWA website for detailed information about eligibility.

High-achieving students will be automatically assessed for a scholarship on application to the University of Western Australia. The amount of fee reduction that you might receive is dependent on your most recent set of grades i.e. school leaving qualifications for undergraduate students, or bachelors degree for postgraduate students.

Students who have achieved grades of AAA (15 points) or above at A-level are highly likely to be successful in getting this scholarship, provided all other elements of their application meet University requirements.
