2. Ensure you meet degree entry requirements
   Each research programme will specify its admission criteria on the relevant course page. Visit the SCU policy pages for award rules, including Doctor of Philosophies (PhD) award rules, Masters by Thesis award rules, and Professional Doctorate award rules.
3. Prepare a research proposal
   A research proposal will assist your application and help you find an appropriate supervisor. Refer to https://www.scu.edu.au/graduate-school/how-to-apply/faqs/ for how to write a research proposal.
4. Find a supervisor
   You’ll need to approach and confirm a principal supervisor and a co-supervisor for your intended candidature before starting your application. Use the SCU database at: https://www.scu.edu.au/graduate-school/find-a-supervisor/
5. Complete the online application form
   Please complete the relevant application form, accessible from https://www.scu.edu.au/graduate-school/how-to-apply/
   Please ensure that you nominate Study Options as your ‘agent’ or ‘representative’ when you complete the online form.
